These Crocodile Bay guests went offshore fishing for a day and caught a diversity of fish in the Pacific Ocean. The waters of the Osa Peninsula are abundant! Sport fishermen headed offshore into the open waters for a day of fishing!

These Crocodile Bay guests headed out for a day of offshore fishing in the Osa Peninsula and here is what they caught: Early morning and Crocodile Day boats are ready to head offshore for fishing.

The Osa Wildlife Sanctuary is home to many of endangered animals and plays an important role in protecting the wildlife of the Osa Peninsula especially the monkeys. Crocodile Bay guests take an ecotour of the sanctuary and get some monkey love. Adorable Monkey form the Osa Wildlife Sanctuary

Crocodile Bay guests venture out into the Pacific Ocean for a day of offshore fishing in the Osa Peninsula and bring in some dorado and roosterfish. Another sunny day in paradise. Early morning and heading out the dock to get on the boat to go fishing.

Sportfishing Calendar

January

Tuna, marlin and dorado taper off. Number of sailfish begins to increase.

February

Prime time for sailfish. Occassional marlin, tuna or dorado.

March

Prime time for sailfish.

April

Sailfish numbers drop mid-April and some marlin begin to appear.

May

Slower for billfish. Typically we start seeing schools of spinner dolphins with yellowfin tuna.

June

Slower for billfish. Spinner dolphins with yellowfin tuna.

July

Marlin begin to appear. A chance for black marlin as well as blues and striped marlin. A chance for tuna.

August

Marlin and tuna.

September

Slower for billfish. A chance for tuna and dorado.

October

Dorado begin to appear in numbers with marlin close behind.

November

A mixed bag of dorado, marlin and some big tuna.

December

Marlin, dorado, tuna and sailfish are all possibilities.
