She Said “Yes” – A Very Special Proposal

Orchestrating the perfect marriage proposal is no easy task. How one pops the question is a story that is told year after year.

Mark, one of our recent guests, enlisted the help of our Fishing Director, Diego prior to his arrival. He explained to Diego that he wanted to pop the question to his girlfriend Laura on the boat during their fishing excursion.

The whole team was in on it. They encouraged Laura to reel in the line to ‘check the hook’. Little did she know this was all part of the plan. When she brought in the jig, the words  “will you marry me?” were written on it. Of course her answer to Marc was YES!

To top it off, almost immediately after her ‘yes’ while they were having their first kiss as an engaged couple, the reel starts spinning with a fish on the line! The couple hooked and landed a 40lb Roosterfish!

We’re honored to be a part of Mark and Laura’s engagement…congratulations!
